Led by dynamic leaders like Nii Azumah Nelson, these returnees introduced essential architectural, tailoring, and blacksmithing skills to the Gold Coast. After falling into disrepair, the house was completely restored in 2007 through a joint initiative between the Brazilian Government, the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, and the Tabon family, transforming it into a vibrant monument to transatlantic resilience.
