The Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech (aka “Yves Saint Laurent Museum Marrakech) is a modern cultural center dedicated to the life, legacy, and design practice of legendary French couturier Yves Saint Laurent. Opened in October 2017, the 4,000-square-meter facility is located right next to the famous Jardin Majorelle, the historic botanical estate that Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé bought and saved in the 1980s. The building itself is an architectural wonder designed by Studio KO. It features a unique, curved terracotta-brick exterior laid in intricate lace patterns meant to mimic the delicate warp and weft of fabric woven threads.
